Generally, the structure of a car headlight can be divided into three parts: the lamp housing, the base, and the reflector bowl (reflectmirror). The quality of the headlight reflector directly affects the vehicle's lighting performance. The reflector bowl is the part of the headlight structure with the highest tempeature (160-200°C). Although thermoplastic materials offer excellent processability, light weight, high design freedom, and better impact strength than glass, they have poor heat resistance nd rigidity, making it difficult to meet the heat resistance requirements of the reflector bowl. Therefore, the main material currently used by domestic headlight manufacturers for reflector bowls is the tng composite material BMC.
